ACTIVITIES

We are within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and  entertainment centres, and have easy access to motorways. We’re also only 10 mins from PE airport, close to the University; Humewood Golf Course; and other facilities, making us an ideally located guesthouse.

Cape St Francis

Cape St Francis, 110km west of PE, is a quiet hamlet offering the opportunity to enjoy a tranquil and pristine environment far from any commercial centre.

Water sports are amongst the most popular pastimes in the Port Elizabeth area, and its no surprise considering we have the fourth best weather in the world!

Jeffreys Bay lies just 72km west of Port Elizabeth en route to Cape St Francis, and offers the opportunity to surf world-famous Supertubes!

Jeffreys Bay

Visit Port Elizabeth’s many old buildings, discover our history, and taste a little of our past…  We can arrange city tours with pick-ups and drop off from our guesthouse.

St Francis Bay

St Francis Bay, found just a few km from Cape St Francis, is a harbour resort village of pretty canals and spectacular views.

Our local Oceanarium, a short drive from us, has an underwater observation area and various tanks hosting forty different species of fish. You can also see sharks, stingrays, and visit the dolphin research centre. Visitors to the twice-daily dolphin show can be photographed with a dolphin.

Port Alfred lies east of Port Elizabeth and makes a pleasant day trip. Explore this attractive coastal town with its marina, and lunch overlooking the water.

Game Reserves abound in the region, which is known as the Eastern Cape game belt. Each offers something unique, and all have a good variety of wildlife that is easily viewed during game drives.

The Garden Route

Just a couple of hours drive further west along the coast lies the popular Garden Route, popular for both day trips and as a destination in itself.
