tranquil and pristine environment far from any commercial centre.
Water sports are amongst the most popular pastimes in the
Port Elizabeth area, and its no surprise considering we have the fourth
best weather in the world!
Jeffreys Baylies just 72km west
of Port Elizabeth en route to Cape St Francis, and offers the
opportunity to surf world-famous Supertubes!
Visit Port Elizabeth’s many old
buildings, discover our history, and taste a little of our past… We can
arrange city tours with pick-ups and drop off from our guesthouse.
St Francis Bay
St Francis Bay,
found just a few km from Cape St Francis, is a harbour resort village of
pretty canals and spectacular views.
Our local Oceanarium, a short drive from us, has an
underwater observation area and various tanks hosting forty different
species of fish. You can also see sharks, stingrays, and visit the
dolphin research centre. Visitors to the twice-daily dolphin show can be
photographed with a dolphin.
Port Alfred
lies east of Port Elizabeth and makes a pleasant day trip. Explore this
attractive coastal town with its marina, and lunch overlooking the
water.
Game Reserves abound in the region, which is known as the
Eastern Cape game belt. Each offers something unique, and all have a
good variety of wildlife that is easily viewed during game drives.
The Garden Route
Just a couple of hours drive further
west along the coast lies the popular Garden Route, popular for both day
trips and as a destination in itself.
